Javni poziv za učešće u Programu studentskog aktivizma “GLAS STUDENTIMA!”

NVO Mladi Romi i Unija slobodnih sindikata Crne Gore objavljuju poziv za 25 studenata i studentkinja za pohađanje Programa studentskog aktivizma „Glas studentima!“. Cilj programa je da poboljša znanje i vještine polaznika/ca da učestvuju u oblikovanju političkog i javnog života Crne Gore.
Programom će biti obuhvaćene sljedeće aktivnosti:
- Učešće u treningu o demokratiji i ljudskim pravima (12-14 oktobar 2018)
- Učešće u treningu o parlamentarnom sistemu Crne Gore i javnim politikama (2-4 novembar 2018)
- Učešće u treningu o odnosima sa javnošću i relevantnim aspektima javnog nastupa (23-25 novembar 2018)
- Učešće u treningu o izvođenju simulacija parlamentarnih debata (15-17 februar 2018)
- Dvije simulacije parlamentarnih debata na fakultetima u Podgorici (februar-mart 2019)
- Simulacija parlamentarne debate u Skupštini Crne Gore koja će biti organizovana na Međunarodni dan Roma, 8. aprila (8. april 2019)
- Učešće u konsultativnim sastancima na lokalnom nivou koji će biti organizovani tokom trajanja projekta
- Učešće u radnoj grupi koja će imati za cilj monitoring i zagovaranje za politički i javni aktivizam mladih u Crnoj Gori, sa posebnim naglaskom na marginalizovane grupe

NGO Young Roma and the Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro are organising a press conference on the occasion of presenting the project “United we reach more – Voice to students, support to workers!”.
The conference will be held on Thursday, 20 September 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in the premises of EU Info Centre.
Field visit to Bijelo Polje

NGO Young Roma organized a field visit on 29th August 2018. to organizations from Bijelo Polje, which are members of the coalition “United support for Roma inclusion in Montenegro” – NGA Klub kulture and Đakomo Adriatic. The purpose of the visit was to exchange information about organizations’ activities concerning inclusion of Roma and Egyptians in the north of Montenegro, as well as to plan future activities within the Coalition.

Board game: How to improve transparency and accountability criteria in NGOs?

In order to establish transparency and accountability criteria in Roma and pro-Roma civil society organisations, NGO Young Roma carries out the board game “Transparency criteria”, supported by European Commission and International Visegrad Fund, in cooperation with ERGO Network. The game should serve as an interesting tool to deal with issues of transparency and accountability in organization’s work. Objectives of the game are:
- To raise awareness of transparency and accountability issues for civil society organisations;
- To develop ideas on how to become more transparent and accountable civil society organisations;
- To kick-off the reflection process on setting up internal regulations that improve transparency and accountability inside civil society organisations.
