We use the opportunity to inform the public that The NGO „Young Roma“ and „The Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro“ completed the working visit within the project “Waste no chance! – Promoting employability and labour rights of Roma waste collectors“.
Namely, on 12 December 2017, the project team, together with the group of the collectors of secondary raw materials from Kotor, Tivat, Herceg Novi and Budva, visited d.o.o “Deponija” in Podgorica in order to exchange experience in the area of doing business within the enterprise, getting acquainted with the process of the collection of raw materials, their adequate storage and waste management.

The NGO Young Roma informs all interested organizations that the deadline for the Open call for the allocation of small grants has been prolonged.
We remind the public that the NGO Young Roma published the third Open call for the allocation of small grants to non-governmental organizations which contribute to the improvement of the position of Roma and Egyptian population in Montenegro. The open call is published within the projectJoint Initiative to Empower Roma Civil Society in the Western Balkans and Turkey, supported by the European Commission.

The NGO Young Roma within the project ,,Joint initiative to Empower Roma civil Society in the Western Balkans and Turkey", supported by the European Commission, announced a call for the allocation of small grants to non-governmental organizations, which due to their work contribute to the improvement of the position of Roma and Egyptian population in Montenegro.

Cilj konkursa je jačanje dijaloga između opština i romskih zajednica i predstavljanje primjera dobre prakse kada je u pitanju unapređenje položaja romske i egipćanske manjine.

Third training within the project “Waste no chance - Improving the employability and labor rights of Roma waste collectors” was held at Hotel Princess, in Bar, on 16-18. November, 2017.
The training was led by lecturers from NGO "Udruženje nastavnika Preduzeća za vježbu", Šarović Novica and Lukic Biljana, who at the opening session had the opportunity to greet the participants and get acquainted with them about the lecture plan, as well as to invite the participants to the discussion with the goal of the greater exchange experiences.
The training was also attended by Vanja Milicic, in front of the Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro, as well as members of the project team of NGO Mladi Romi.
