A working meeting organized by Roma Initiatives Office with civil society partners from the region

Representatives of the coalition "Together for the inclusion of Roma and Egyptian communities through transparent and sustainable public policy" attended the workshop which was organized by the Roma Initiatives Office in Vienna from 5th to 7th of April 2017. In addition to representatives from Montenegro, the meeting was attended by representatives of the civil sector of the country in which the aforementioned initiatives is being implemented. The reason for the meeting was to coordinate the activities of national representatives involved in the project implementation.
Exhibition of jewelry for Roma Day

An exhibition of jewelry was held in hotel Park in Herceg Novi for the International Roma Day, on 8th of April.
The jewelry was made by the beneficiaries of the project "Increasing the employability of long term unemployed women - Dorra Nuova".
More than hundred people were at the exhibition and there they had opportunity to get familiar with the project and further exhibitions initiatives.
Visit to the Parliament of Montenegro

Representatives of the NGO Young Roma together with group of activists from the Roma community visited Parliament of Montenegro on 05.04.2017. This activity was aimed at strengthening their skills, capacity building and greater participation in public and political life of our society.

In the frame of the project "Beat your prejudice!" NGO Young Roma in cooperation with the Debate Club of the Faculty of Political Science "Agora" organized the fourth forum theatre ,, If you were in my position ... ". Forum Theatre was organised on 8.04.2017. in Herceg Novi. This performance is one of the activities that the organization Young Roma conducted to mark International Roma Day.
Realized training "Roaming - Capacity building of Roma organizations for writing EU projects and building partnerships"

In Bar, in the period from 19th to 26th March 2017. the training was organized for participants from six countries in the framework of the project "Roaming" supported through ERASMUS + program, aimed at developing the capacity of Roma civil society organizations in the Western Balkans, with the goal to efficient usage of EU funds and acceptance of EU values and views, and all this through the quality initiatives and advocacy actions.
