An exhibition of jewelry was held in hotel Park in Herceg Novi for the International Roma Day, on 8th of April.
The jewelry was made by the beneficiaries of the project "Increasing the employability of long term unemployed women - Dorra Nuova".
More than hundred people were at the exhibition and there they had opportunity to get familiar with the project and further exhibitions initiatives.
The project "Increasing the employability of long-term unemployed women - Dorra Nuova" is implemented by NGO Mladi Romi in cooperation with NGO Ruke from Herceg Novi. The project is supported by the European Union funds through the grant scheme "Young, Women and Long-term Unemployed in the Labor Market", which is implemented within the Operational Program "Human Resources Development 2012-2013", financed through the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA). The implementation contract was signed with the Ministry of Finance - the Directorate for Financing and Contracting EU Assistance. The Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare is the institution in charge of monitoring the implementation of this project, but also the entire grant scheme.
The main objective of the project is to contribute to the improvement of the economic and social rights of Roma women and other long-term unemployed women through inclusion in the labor market. The project contributes to increasing the possibilities for their employment and self-employment, which is ensured through a series of trainings, workshops, partnership building activities, as well as cooperation with relevant organizations and institutions.
