Representatives of Municipality Herceg Novi, members of the Institutional Working Group for drafting of the Local Action Plan and members of Roma community held a joint meeting in municipality Herceg Novi, in the presence of members of NGO ''Young Roma'' ROMACTED team.

On Wednesday, February 12th 2020, our organization was visited by an expert hired by the EU, Mr. Aleksandar Shumkovski. On that occasion, he held a meeting with the representatives of relevant institutions with which NGO Young Roma cooperates with in its daily work.
The visit concerned the results of the first year of the implementation of the project "Increasing access and participation of Roma students in secondary education and transition to labor market" which is now in its second year of implementation.

Samir Jaha on behalf of the Young Roma organization and Alessandro Botta on behalf of the Council of Europe, Romacted program, visited and discussed the position of Roma and Egyptians with two prominent members of the community Ljuleta Baljaj Vuckovic and Xhafer Brahimi, who are engaged in school as mediators with RE children, and at the same time representatives of the Egyptian Association in Tivat.

On February 6, 2020, representatives of the NGO "Young Roma" visited the Elementary school “Mileva Lajović Lalatović” in Nikšić, which is one of the schools included in the mentoring program and other activities foreseen by the project “Improving primary education – first step towards quality secondary education”.
