In order to improve the living conditions in the settlement of Vrela Ribnicka, and reduce consequences of the COVID-19 virus, the NGO Mladi Romi signed a contract with the company Zelenilo about building a children’s playground.
Roma students enrolled in first grade of secondary education receive learning support

NGO Young Roma, which has been working for 15 years to improve the Roma position in Montenegro, due to the COVID-19 impact on education of the Roma students and the need for stronger support to reduce drop-outs, has started implementation of the Learning support to secondary school Roma students initiative. This initiative which will target Roma high school students enrolled in first grade, is supported by UNICEF Country Office in Montenegro.

Meeting with mentors in elementary school „Marko Miljanov“ in Podgorica – 28th October 2020

On October 28th, 2020, representatives of NGO Young Roma held a meeting with parents of Roma students whose children will be beneficiaries of mentoring support program provided by NGO Young Roma. This support is targeted for eighth and ninth grade elementary school students. Besides the parents, the meeting was attended by mentors from this school who are selected to participate in these activities.
