NGO Young Roma proposed to the Ministry of Education to improve the position of the associates in social inclusion of Roma in education

NGO Roma, in order to improve the position of associates in social inclusion of Roma in education, who are engaged by the Ministry of Education for primary schools in Montenegro, with the consent of all associates, sent a proposal to Ministry of Education to increase salaries of associates in social inclusion of Roma in education, according to the aggravating inclinations in the work.
Associates are imediators in communication between parents and school to overcome the problems and needs of Roma children. This occupation is foreseen by the Strategy for Social Inclusion of Roma and Egyptians 2016-2020. The standardization and the systematization of this job is envisaged and realized.

NGO Young Roma sent a letter to the Municipality of Herceg Novi, regarding the urgent solving of the Berisha family housing issue.
The letter states that Berisha family that has 21 member, residing in the Municipality of Herceg Novi, and which has the status of permanent residence, was deprived of a place of residence in Kumbor

The NGO Young Roma sent a letter to the Municipality of Tivat to participate in the drafting of the budget proposal.
Although the budget for the following year is aimed at stabilization and savings, the NGO Young Roma hopes that the Municipality will have an understanding for members of the Roma and Egyptian community in Tivat.
100 aid packages distributed to 71 families in Herceg Novi

NGO Young Roma, through ROMACTED programme implemented by Council of Europe and our organization, funded by European Commission and Council of Europe, organized on November 21, 2020, the distribution of aid packages intended for the Roma community in Herceg Novi.
Aid distributed to 71 families, contains 100 hygiene packages of 10 kg per package, 100 food packages of 35 kg per package, as well as children's packages of 6 kg each containing baby food, sweets and cosmetics.
