Project “Unifying the Voices for Ending Violence against Women” – initial meeting
NGO Young Roma organized a meeting with representatives of NGOs which deal with women’ rights and fight against violence against women. Meeting was used as an opportunity to present project “Unifying the Voices for Ending Violence against Women” and to discuss possibilities of future cooperation in the framework of this project and of establishing a network of NGOs. Project “Unifying the Voices for Ending Violence against Women” is a part of regional programme “Implementing Norms, Changing Minds: Ending Violence against Women in the Western Balkans and Turkey”, implemented by UN Women and supported by European Union, and NGO Young Roma is national partner organization for Montenegro.

Joint recommendations for education of Roma children – conference „Quality education through cooperation“
Conference “Quality education through cooperation”, organized by NGO Young Roma and coalition “United support for Roma inclusion in Montenegro” was held in Podgorica on 27th September 2018. The aim of this conference was to gather representatives of education institutions, state institutions, international organizations and other relevant parties which deal with issues of education and general situation of Roma in Montenegro. Conference had focus on current state of education of Roma children, challenges and potential solutions at local level, positive examples from practice and exchange of information among participants.
The first regional coordination meeting within the project "Unifying the Voices for Ending Violence Against Women"
Representatives of NGO Young Roma attended the first coordination meeting of partner organizations within the regional project "Unifying the Voices for Ending Violence Against Women".
At the meeting, held on September 21 and 22, 2018, in Skopje, the activities were focused on planning further project continuation, visibility and communication plan. On this occasion, forms for financial and narrative reporting were presented. Guidelines for the establishment of national networks of organizations in each country were also given to organisations.
