Nagrada EU za integraciju Roma ''Neznane heroine''
Otvoren je poziv za aplikacije za Nagradu Evopske unije za integraciju Roma na Zapadnom Balkanu i u Turskoj za 2019. Ove godine, nagrada nosi naslov ''Neznane heroine'' i namijenjena je pripadnicama romske populacije koje su kroz svoj rad i posvećenost unaprijedile život i društvenu integraciju Roma u svojoj zajednici.
Poziv je otvoren za individualne prijave i za nominacije kandidatkinja od strane nevladine organizacije/međunarodne organizacije/grupe pojedinaca itd.
Launching conference for the project of scholarships for Roma high school students
On January 17 2019, at 11 a.m. NGO Young Roma organized Launching Conference in the EU Info Center, where the project "Increasing access and participation of Roma students in secondary education and transition to labour market" was presented.
The conference presented the main goal and activities that will be implemented within the project, the budget and the number of students who, according to the project are eligible for scholarship, mentoring and the opportunity to conduct the internship in the public or private sector.
Cooperation between NGO Young Roma and NGO MAPSS
The Executive Director of NGO Young Roma, Samir Jaha and president of NGO Montenegrin Association of Political Science Students (MAPSS) Mina Međedović, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between NGO Young Roma and NGO Montenegrin Association of Political Science Students on 26. December.
NGO Young Roma is organisation that seeks to support protection of social, economic and political rights of Roma in Montenegro through capacity building, with a particular emphasis on linking and encouraging young people in Roma community to take concrete actions and initiatives, while also training teenagers to develop individual skills for benefit of personal and collective progress.
