Meetings of members of network in the framework of the project "Unifying the voices for Ending Violence against Women"
Meetings of the members of network within the project "Unifying the voices for Ending Violence against Women" were held on March 22 and April 3 2019. in Podgorica. Meetings were attended by representatives of non-governmental organizations - Montenegrin Women's Lobby from Podgorica, Mladiinfo Montenegro from Podgorica, Klub kulture from Bijelo Polje, Centar za romske inicijative from Nikšić and Ženske RE mreže „Prva“ from Podgorica.
Parliamentary debate on the Faculty of Law in Podgorica
In the framework of the project "United we reach more- Voice to students, support to workers!", a simulation of parliamentary debate was organized on March 23 at the Faculty of Law in Podgorica. The simulation at the Faculty of Law followed after training on parliamentary debates in Petrovac and after two simulations at the Faculty of Political Science. Parliamentary debate was attended by students from Roma and majority population who participated in student activism program "Voice to students".
Training on simulation on parliamentary debate in the framework of student activism program ''Voice to students!''
Training on simulation of parliamentary debates was held from February 15 to 17 at Hotel "Palas" in Petrovac. This is the fourth training organized in the framework of student activism program "Voice to students", and it was preceeded by training on democracy and human rights, the political system of Montenegro and public policies, and public relations.
This event brought together 21 participants, students and activists from Roma and majority population. Given that one of the objectives of project is to improve the inclusion of young Roma and students in shaping of political and public life in Montenegro, the purpose of training was to educate participants about parliamentary debate, because strengthening rhetorical abilities is one of the ways that contributes to empowering student activism in decisions making process.
