Video within the project "United we can do more - vote for students, support for workers!" created
Having in mind the importance of the work performed by utility companies for the whole society, for each local community on one side, for each individual on the other, and the importance, weight, and responsibility of work performed by employees, field workers of these companies, for the needs of the project United we reach more - voice to students, support to workers, a promotional video was made which aims to raise citizens' awareness of the importance of adequate waste disposal and the importance of the work performed by the workers of these companies. Young activists sent powerful messages through Forum theatre
Representatives of NGO ''Young Roma'' attended the performance of forum theatre organised by two young Roma NGOs – Centre for Affirmation of Roma population and Roma european alternative, on 11th December 2019. This interactive play, titled ''We are here!'' was performed on the Faculty of Philosophy in Niksic. Ten activists/high school students, willing to demonstrate their acting skills, in this way presented several real-life situations in Roma community. By this, participants pointed out the significance of education of RE children and youth, on existing prejudices and demonstrated how individuals from institutions often treat Roma community, as well as pointed out some negative phenomena such as arranged, unwilling early marriages.
Continuation of strengthening of capacities of members of our Coalition
Members of the project Management team conducted a visit to organisations which are members of our Coalition and which are at the same time beneficiaries of the sub-granting scheme – Centre for affirmation of RE population and Roma European Alternative. The reason of visit was provision of training for the present members of these organisations through the ''on-the-job'' method, which implies provision of immediate and specifically oriented skills and knowledge in solving practical issues and conducting administrative tasks.
