In the frame of the project "Beat your prejudice!" NGO Young Roma in cooperation with the Debate Club of the Faculty of Political Science "Agora" organized the fourth forum theatre ,, If you were in my position ... ". Forum Theatre was organised on 09.05.2017. in the Ceremonial Hall of Gymnasium ,, Slobodan Škerović " in Podgorica, starting from 12h.

Forum theatre is an interactive play that aims to point out problems that are present in the community. In this case, through the life of two Roma families, we presented a few common situations that every Roma family faces at least once in their lifetime. The audience had the opportunity to actively participate in the discussion and to give its contribution to overcoming common prejudices that exist in our society when it comes to Roma.

Forum Theater presented social, private, business and emotional life of the Roma and the influence of the majority population which in some way limits the integrity of Roma community as well as the integrity of individuals. The contribution of the audience was essential to the success of Forum Theatre and our intention to contribute to positive change of social awareness and overcoming of the prejudices that exist towards Roma population.

Project "Beat your prejudice," is being implemented since September 2016 to May 2017. Aim of the project is to raise awareness about the necessity of combating discrimination, racism and negative prejudices that are related to the Roma population. Project is funded by the Embassy of the United States - Podgorica, through Democracy Commission Small Grants Program.
