Regional Conference within the project “Unifying the Voices for Ending Violence Against Women“ held
Representatives of the NGO Young Roma, Fatima Naza and Katarina Jočić participated in a regional conference held on September 19, 2019 at the Palace of Serbia in Belgrade, which was held within a project “Unifying the Voices for Ending Violence Against Women“.
The conference was organized by the Roma Women's Center “Bibija” from Serbia, which was also the leading organization during the project. Regional report on the implementation of the CEDAW and the Istanbul Convention was presented at the conference. Areas covered by the report are in relation to discrimination against Roma women in the field of health care, child marriage and protection for Roma women in the situation of domestic violence.
Sub-granting scheme 2019: Training on narrative and financial reporting and signing of contract with ''Centre for affirmation of RE population''
Project team of NGO ''Young Roma'' conducted a field visit to two Roma organisations from Nikšić: ‘Centre for affirmation of RE population’’ and ‘REA Nikšić’. This visit was organised in order to sign the contract for awarding of funds through sub-granting scheme, and at the same time, to train present representatives of these organisations on narrative and financial reporting on project implementation.

Project team of NGO ''Young Roma'' conducted a field visit to ''Association of Egyptians'' in Tivat, on 19th September 2019. Reason for visit was signing of contract for provision of support within the sub-granting scheme, as well as provision of training on narrative and financial reporting on project implementation.
