Six families is returning to Kosovo [RTCG]

Voluntarily return of 5 families to Djakovica and one family to Kosovo Field will be organised today. These families, with a total of 29 members will return to their country of origin, where there are houses waiting for them, as stated by the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare.
The return of these families is funded by the European Union through the Delegation of European Union to Montenegro through the "Assistance Program for Integration and the Return of RAE and other I / RL living in Konik - Phase II". In cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare - Directorate for Refugees Government of Montenegro and the United Nations Agency for Refugees (UNHCR), this project is implemented by the Danish Refugee Council in partnership with the NGO HELP.
UNHCR used allocated funds of the European Union to build houses for returnees on the land granted by the Municipality of Djakovica, and provided beneficiaries with the food, furniture, wood and tools for self-employment, while the Danish Refugee Council awarded basic return packages and provided transport of these persons and their belongings.
"This activity is a continuation of the close cooperation of governmental, international and non-governmental organizations that are actively working on achieving durable solutions for displaced persons. During October and November, we organised the return of 17 displaced families or 90 persons to Pec, Istok and Djakovica in Kosovo", conludes the statement from the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare.
