Meeting with members of the Institutional Working Group (IWG) in the municipality of Herceg Novi

Representatives of the ROMACTED team held a meeting with representatives of the Institutional Working Group (IWG) in the municipality of Herceg Novi on November 23. The working group, consisting of the representatives of the Center for Social Work of the Municipality of Herceg Novi, the Bureau of Labor, the Health Center, the Police Directorate and the primary schools will aim in the forthcoming period to work on the development of the Local Action Plan for inclusion of the RE population in Herceg Novi. The members of the Working Group were appointed by the Decision of the President of the Municipality of Herceg Novi, while the Working Group will be chaired by the Vice President of the Municipality.

The participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the program more closely and at the same time they exchanged information about the situation of RE population in Herceg Novi. The local action plan will contribute to solving problems of the RE community in Herceg Novi, which is rather integrated and not segregated.
