Organised regional event for the Long Term Grants

A representative of the NGO Young Roma, Samir Jaha participated in the second meeting held in the frame of the regional project ,, Joint initiative to empower Roma civil society in the Western Balkans and Turkey ", in which implementation the NGO Young Roma participates as a partner organization for Montenegro.

The meeting was held in Brussels in the period from 22-24. June 2016. The event was organized as part of the long-term grants program with the aim of presenting projects that are being implemented at the regional level.

Organizations whose projects are supported through programs of long-term grant had the opportunity to promote individual projects and networking with colleagues from other organizations. In addition, the organizations had the opportunity to be informed about all the details related to the projects, and to obtain clarification on administrative and operational procedures for significant projects supported by the European Union.

The project ,, Joint initiative to empower Roma civil society in the Western Balkans and Turkey" is supported by the European Commission through the IPA Civil Society and Media 2014 - 2015, and implemented by Roma Active Albania (project coordinator), ERGO network (Belgium ) OTAHARIN (Bosnia and Herzegovina), NGO Young Roma (Montenegro), RROMA (Macedonia), the Organization of Roma students (Serbia) and zero tolerance (Turkey).
