NGO Young Roma publishes vacancy for Assistants for the purpose of implementation of the project United support for inclusion of Roma and Egyptians through transparent and sustainable public policies. Project is funded by the Open Society Foundation from Budapest and implemented in cooperation with the Center for Roma Initiatives, Centre for Democratic transition, NF Civic Alliance and the Roma Youth Organization Phiren Amenca.

Through the mentioned project two assistants will be hired, and they will carry out activities in the municipalities of Berane and Tivat. It is therefore desirable, that the candidates who apply for the position of assistant are residing in these municipalities.

Job description:

- Monitoring in the field of education, employment, housing, health care, in accordance with the methodology submitted by the project team.
- Conducting research in the local community and mapping the key needs and problems of Roma and Egyptians;
- Cooperation with local institutions;
- Mandatory attendance at project team meetings;
- Reporting on the work and implemented activities in the previous month;

Conditions that candidates must meet are as follows:

- Candidate must have completed at least secondary education or be in the final year of secondary education;
- Knowledge of English language;
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Word and Excel required);
- Knowledge of institutional, strategic and legal framework significant for inclusion of Roma and Egyptians;
- Experience in working with the Roma and Egyptian population;
- Experience in working with non-governmental organizations;
- Knowledge of the Romany language will be considered as an advantage.
