Working visit to Pljevlja
Representatives of NGO Young Roma, Jaha Samir and Saša Pavićević organized two visits to Roma settlement Trlica in Pljevlja. The visits were organized on 25 September and 2 October as part of the project "Step by step to citizenship", supported by the UNDP.
27th meeting of the Decade's International Steering Committee
Sarajevo was the host of the 27th meeting of the International Steering Committee of the Decade of Roma Inclusion, the first under the presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, held on 29 and 30 September. The meeting was officially opened by the Minister for Human Rights and Refugees, g. Damir Ljubić, who emphasized that BiH has achieved good results in the inclusion of Roma, although this country joined the Decade initiative with certain delay.
Report on National Strategy for Integration of Roma and Decade Action Plan launched
The report "Monitoring of civil society on the implementation of the National Strategy for Integration of Roma and the Action Plan of the Decade of Roma in Montenegro" for 2012 and 2013 was prepared by a coalition of non-governmental organizations consisting of Civic Alliance (lead organization), the Association of Egyptians, Centre for Roma Initiatives, Forum MNE and NGO "ROSE".
