Joint meeting between representatives of Municipality Herceg Novi and Roma community on presentation of the LAP

Representatives of Municipality Herceg Novi, members of the Institutional Working Group for drafting of the Local Action Plan and members of Roma community held a joint meeting in municipality Herceg Novi, in the presence of members of NGO ''Young Roma'' ROMACTED team.

Purpose of the meeting was presentation of the draft Local Action Plan for Roma integration in Municipality Herceg Novi for period 2020-2022. Meeting was an opportunity for representatives of Municipality to present planned measures to direct beneficiaries of LAP, as well as for members of Roma community to directly comment on measures and give suggestions on Local Action Plan. Planned measures concern areas of: housing, employment, education, social protection and health.

Meeting was characterised by constructive discussion and exchange of opinions, and it resulted in improved informing and with several useful initiatives and ideas.

This is a first joint meeting between representatives of municipality and local institutions and Roma community, and this type of communication will become regular practice.
