Field visit to Meljine and focus groups

Members of the ROMACTED team made a field visit to the settlement of Meljine in Herceg Novi on Thursday, April 11, together with the representatives of the Center for Social Work and the Employment Bureau of Herceg Novi. They discussed with the members of the Roma community about the current problems and finding ways to solve them.

After the visit, two focus groups were held with members and members of the Roma community, led by experts hired through the Council of Europe. The results of the focused focus groups will serve to provide a realistic picture of the situation of the Roma community in Herceg Novi. The results will also be a good basis for getting the necessary information to create a future Local Action Plan initiated by the ROMACTED team.
