In the letter it is pointed out that for the past 12 years Berisha family resides in informal facility in Kumbor, near the Post Office. Two days ago, they received eviction order from the owner of the company Carine, Cedo Popovic. He offered them another dwelling place, nearby the old place where they lived, but after two days, they were again sent to evict from that place, and this time by a representatives of the Ministry of Defense. According to them, these are the premises of the former ambulance of the Army of Montenegro.

Thus, Berisha family again moved back to the old facility where they lived in Kumber, and has 3 days to leave it.

Bearing in mind that the right to housing is one of the basic human rights, guaranteed by both domestic and international treaties, and that this family has 18 minor members, which directly threaten their basic human right - the right to life, NGO Young Roma demanded prompt reaction of the Municipality to solve this problem so that this family would resolve the housing issue. Berisha family already lives in difficult conditions, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic and their existence is already endangered on a daily basis.
