Members of the Working group on public activism of young people visited Directorate of Youth

Representatives of the NGO "Young Roma" and members of the Working group for public activism of young people visited the Directorate for Youth, in the framework of Ministry of Sports and Youth, on 19th June. The Working group was formed within the project "United we reach more - Voice to Students, Support to workers!".
On that occasion, the representative of the institution Danijela Vujošević addressed the participants. She introduced the members of the Working Group with the work of the Directorate of Youth, with activities aimed at improving the position of young people. On this occasion, members of the Working group were also introduced with youth services, as well as programs of public interest for all young people, which will be implemented in the upcoming period. It was concluded that encouraging the participation of young people is of great importance, and that the improvement of position of young people can only be achieved with the joint contribution of all parties that have youth services. Also, the members of the Working group asked questions related to the situation of Roma population, young people, and people with disabilities, especially in the field of education and employment. New knowledge and information will be valuable for the recommendations that will be found in the publication for the improvement of public activism and the position of the Roma community, young people and people with disabilities.
Aforementioned activity is implemented within the project "United we reach more- Voice to students, support to workers!". The project is funded by the European Union within the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR) through the National Support Scheme for Montenegro (CBSS) and co-financed by the Ministry of Public Administration of Montenegro.
