Dorra Nuova jewelry exhibited at a conference in Podgorica

Workshop Dorra Nuova exhibited its unique handmade pearl and polymer (Fimo) jewelry on 11th July 2017. in Hilton hotel in Podgorica, during the final conference of the project "Strengthening Public Activism of Roma - United We Reach More" organized by the NGO Mladi Romi.

Jewelry provoked interest of many participants in the conference, but also the media representatives. Unique jewelry was created by 26 long-term unemployed women, beneficiaries of the project "Increasing the employability of long-term unemployed women - Dorra Nuova".

This project is implemented by the NGO Youth Roma NGO in cooperation with NGO Ruke. The project is supported by the European Union funds through the grant scheme "Youth, Women and Long-term Unemployed in the Labor Market", which is realized within the Operational Program "Human Resources Development 2012-2013", financed by the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA). The implementation contract was signed with the Ministry of Finance - the Directorate for Financing and Contracting EU Assistance. The Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare is the institution in charge of monitoring the implementation of this project, but also the entire grant scheme.

The project aims to contribute to the labor integration of women through the training for jewelry and handicrafts, at the same time building partnerships and entrepreneurship opportunities. Dorra Nuova will exhibit its unique jewelry in Herceg Novi, Kotor and Tivat by the end of September 2017.
