On Wednesday, 15th of February 2017 at the Faculty of Philosophy in Nikšić , NGO Young Roma in cooperation with the Debate Club of the Faculty of Political Science "Agora" held a third debate in framework of the project "Beat your prejudice". The theme of the debate was,, arranged marriages or marriages out of love."

Mentioned debate was an opportunity to show, to young university students who were in the audience, that the culture of dialogue, can solve the problems of our society and tackle topics that are very important, not only for Roma but also the overall community. Attendees had the opportunity to hear about the problems facing the Roma population in our society, and through constructive discussion that followed the debate, the possibilities for solving problems and overcoming prejudices against Roma were discussed. Once again it was proven that the issue of Roma inclusion in Montenegrin society and the elimination of prejudices Roma are daily encountered with, is a topic that has awakened interest to the student population, as well as representatives of various institutions, and that the organization of events of this type should become practice in Montenegro faculties.

The attitude of government this time was defended by Jovan Pavlović, from Faculty of Economy and Bogdan Lukić from the Faculty of Law, while in the role of the opposition were Eldin Ličina from the Faculty of Economy and Miličić Mile from the Faculty of Political Sciences. Moderator of the debate and constructive discussion that followed the speech of debaters was Andrej Šepelj from debate club ,, Agora ".

Project "Beat your prejudice" which is being implemented from September 2016 to May 2017, aims to contribute to raising awareness about the necessity of combating discrimination, racism and negative prejudices that are related to the Roma population and is being implemented through the Programme Commission Small Grants Democracy on behalf of US Embassy in Podgorica.

Montenegrin teenagers and students will also, through three Forum Theatre Plays in secondary schools and one street performance which will be organized on the occasion of International Roma Day, have the opportunity to open debate to discuss burning issues and develop analytical potential. The project will include at least 300 young people, ages 15-25 years, from 3 Montenegrin municipalities - Podgorica, Nikšić and Herceg Novi.
