Public call within the project "Increasing employability of long-term unemployed women - Dorra Nuova"

NGO Young Roma in partnership with the NGO Hands from Herceg Novi announces a public call for training within the project "Increasing employability of long-term unemployed women - Dorra Nuova", for 20 unemployed women from Herceg Novi and 4 unemployed women from Kotor and Tivat who are registered within the Employment Agency. The project is supported by the Ministry of Finance and funded by the European Union.
Selected candidates will attend workshops for handcrafting and presentation of jewelry and other handicraft products, financial management, administration and management of marketing. After workshops and trainings, candidates will be engaged in making and selling jewelry and handicrafts for a period of seven months, with appropriate monetary compensation.
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be registered as unemployed within the Employment Agency in Herceg Novi, Kotor and Tivat;
- Be elementary literate;
- Priority is given to Roma candidates (project predicts that the training program will include 12 Roma and 12 non-Roma women);
- Advantage can be given to women who are single mothers, women in social need.
Commission for the selection of candidates will also take into account the following criteria: age, education level, place of residence and motivation to actively participate in the project, along with the specific criteria set out in the above mentioned section.
Commission for selection of candidates will consist of representatives of the Employment Agency Herceg Novi, NGO Young Roma and NGO Hands. Selected candidates will be contacted no later than 10 days after the public call expiration.
Interested candidates should contact their counselors at the Employment Agency no later than 20th of January 2017.
The Commission for selection retains all rights when selecting candidates and is not required to give comments on the submitted applications that didn’t meet the criteria specified in the public call.
