Public call for research expert

Young Roma, the Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro and the Coalition Roma Circle are announcing public call for engagement of expert for the purpose of conducting research within the project "Strengthening capacities of Roma for public activism- United we reach more!" supported by the European Union through the EU Delegation in Montenegro.

The research should include the following topics:
- Socio-economic position of workers employed at public utility companies in 8 municipalities in Montenegro;
- The role of Trade unionization and activism in the process of improving the position of workers and management of enterprises;
Required qualifications:
-At Least 10 years of experience in the field of implementation of researches on public opinion;
-Experience in conducting research in the related field;
- Preferable experience in working with non-governmental and international organizations for the protection of human rights;
- Preferable experience in working with vulnerable groups, particularly the Roma community.
Job description:
-Development of the questionnaire in cooperation with the project team;
-Conduction of One-day training for 10 Roma activists who will be involved in field survey;
- Analysis and processing of collected data;
- Preparation and presentation of analytical report.
Financial conditions:
The maximum budget available for the research activity is € 2700, for the following:
- The preparation of the questionnaire and one-day training for 10 activists from the Roma community who will conduct field survey- amount of € 300;
- The costs for conduction of field survey by 10 activists from the Roma community- 150 € per interviewer, that makes total of € 1,500;
- Data processing, preparation and presentation of analytical reports € 900.

The selected candidate will be called not later than 7 days after the end of the competition. Young Roma retains all the rights when selecting candidates and is not obligated to to comment on the submitted applications that did not met the competition criteria.
