Study visit to Kosovo

Youth Initiative for Human Rights regional network organized study visit to Kosovo from 15 to 18 of December, 2015. 30 young people from Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Kosovo, including the representative of our organization Ibrahim Tatari, visited Pristina and got introduced with the political and economic situation in Kosovo.

 

 

Young people discussed about issues related to regional cooperation in the Western Balkans, through perspective of Kosovo past and present, and process of the EU integration. One of the mile stones of this visit was the matter of regional youth cooperation and establishment of Regional Youth Cooperation Office. Meetings and discussions were organized with the representatives of institutions, civil society organizations and international organizations with mission to Kosovo. Question discussed were related to freedom of movement of Kosovo citizens, not only to the EU, but also in the regional context, with special focus on Bosnia and Herzegovina, and turbulent events in Kosovo related to the parliamentarian crisis.
