Dorra Nuova at the Flower Fair in Herceg Novi

Herceg Novi is hosting another 47th Mimosa Festival, the most famous folk festival in the ex-YU region. As part of this event, there was an exhibition titled Flower Fair, attended by our organisation.

At the aforementioned exhibition, 55 exhibitors from across the region presented their handicrafts to the numerous tourists and locals. Visitors were able to enjoy decorative plants and flowers, as well as jewelry and various handicrafts made of wood, wicker, natural and recyclable materials.

NGO "Young Roma" was introduced to many visitors with its unique, handcrafted jewellery Dorra Nuova, which was created within the project "Enhancing the employability of Roma women in Herceg Novi". The project provided for employment of  two Roma women, who are working on making and selling jewellery items.

This is the first in a series of fairs, festivals and exhibitions to be organized in the municipality of Herceg Novi, where Dorra Nuova handicraft will be exposed. 

The project is jointly funded by the NGO Young Roma and the Commission for the allocation of revenue from games of chance.
