Meeting with Ministry for Human Rights and Municipality of Herceg Novi

The local officers of the NGO Young Roma, Mehmet Beriša and Sanja Knezević, held a meeting with representatives of the Ministry for Human and Minority Rights and the Municipality of Herceg Novi, in the local office in HN.

The meeting was attended by Suad Numanović, Minister for Human and Minority Rights, Sanja Žugić, Head of Cabinet of the Ministry, Nataša Aćimović, President of the Municipality of Herceg Novi, Vladimir Dželetović, Head of the Secretariat for Social Affairs and Lidija Leovac Officer for relations with NGOs in the Municipality.

Meeting participants discussed the current and planned activities of the organization and the results achieved in the field of education, housing and general integration of Roma at local and national levels.

Representatives of the Ministry and the Municipality have expressed great interest in supporting the work of the NGO Young Roma, and pointed out that they are open to any form of cooperation that will contribute to improving the situation of the Roma community.

The meeting was media covered by two media houses, RTCG and Radio Jadran.
