Meeting with external UNDP consultant

Mr. Igor Topalovic, Project Coordinator at UNDP Montenegro and g. Dotcho Mihailov, external UNDP consultant visited today the office of the NGO Young Roma.  Mr Samir Jaha, Ms Dženita Brčvak and Mr Saša Pavićević attended the meeting on behalf of the Young Roma.

The aim of this meeting was to gather examples of best practice and knowledge gained through experience, and the ability to exchange lessons learned and potential applications in other countries where the project "Regional support to build the capacity to achieve progress in the inclusion of Roma and Egyptian" is being implemented. This project is financed by the UNDP.

Executive Director of the NGO Young Roma, Mr Jaha, spoke about the process and procedures when resolving personal documents for domicile Roma and internally displaced persons, and presented the results to date in this area. Mr. Jaha also spoke about his experience while working on the project "Best Practices for Roma Itegration", supported by the OSCE / ODIHR, as well as about his involvement in the EU Delegation to Montenegro and the German NGO HELP - Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe eV.
 
In addition to meeting with our organization, g. Mihailov also met with representatives of UNHCR, UNICEF, HELP, OSCE, EUD, the Ministry for Human and Minority Rights and relevant non-governmental organizations dealing with Roma issues in Montenegro.
