David Gaši, a very good student of the Secondary Vocational School in Cetinje, is a beneficiary of the mentoring program Learning support for secondary school Roma students initiative conducted by the NGO Young Roma and the UNICEF office in Montenegro.

This hardworking student claims that he always liked the salesmen course and for him it was the most interesting of all other courses that this school is offering.
He is especially satisfied with the practical classes he conducts in a retail facility, which is a great path to his future profession.
- In sales, you learn something new every day and every day is a challenge - explains David.
The help from his mentor Vesna Krivčević means a lot to him, and the mentor is proud of David's success and emphasizes that he is very valuable, dedicated and responsible.
In addition to mentoring, the support of the family is also the inevitable.
I live in a family of six. Mother, father, two brothers and a sister and me. They are all older than me. One brother is in Germany and works there, other brother works here, and the sister is married. My mother is a housewife and my father is employed. Everyone supports my choice and intention to go to school - David points out.
This hard-working student says that he would not change anything at school, he gets along well with everyone and has two best friends.

David has advice for Roma peers: Learn, do your best to be as good as possible, because the acquired knowledge will be most useful in your life!
David's serenity and positive attitude fit perfectly with his job. For every potential costumer, he manages to smoothly shift a bit of innate human joy and delight.
He leaves in front of everyone the impression of a diligent, out spoken and helpful young man. And that is part of the character and upbringing, which he brought from his family and his community.
Studying at the Secondary Vocational School in Cetinje and internship in retail are just a help for his personality to come to the fore. That is why it is not surprising that he is ready to recommend learning and work to his peers as the best-selling product. With proper guidelines, it turned out that was a win-win for him, on the fulfilment road for one young person, to the pride of all people that take care about his personal development.
