On Tuesday, February 2, representatives of the NGO Young Roma visited the Secondary Vocational School Spasoje Raspopovic.

On that occasion, a meeting was held with mentors and students - beneficiaries of mentoring support within the education program implemented by the NGO Young Roma in cooperation with donors - the UNICEF office in Montenegro and the Roma Education Fund (REF).

The mentoring support program at the Secondary Vocational School Spasoje Raspopovi continues this year as well, i.e. it is being implemented for the third year in a row.

Spasoje Raspopovic school has the largest number of Roma students, 20 of them attend classes and they are included in this programme. Six of them are in the first grade, ten in second and four of them are in the fourth, final grade.

At the meeting it was discussed about teaching in the second semester, the regularity of students, the success of students in the semester, practical classes at the time of the COVID19, scholarships, textbooks, public transport.

Classes will be organized live in the second semester, in three different shifts in part-time classes, unlike the first semester when classes, except for the first grades, are organized online.

It was also concluded that the regularity, motivation and success of the students of the entire school were reduced to a certain extent, which was expected considering the online system of work and the influence of the COVID19.
