Office for Roma education support opened in Elementary School Radomir Mitrovic
NGO Young Roma on 16 October visited the Elementary School Radomir Mitrovic in Berane. Through an education support programme, school supplies for Roma pupils were delivered to this institution with the help of the Roma Education Fund. On that occasion, the office for associates in social inclusion of Roma students in education, which is equipped with the support of the ROMACTED programme, funded by the European Union and implemented by the Council of Europe in cooperation with the NGO Young Roma, officially started working.
Visits to secondary schools in municipality of Berane
On the 16 October, representatives of NGO Young Roma visited secondary schools in municipality of Berane in which Roma students are enrolled and where programme of mentoring support is implemented.
On that occasion, we organized meetings with the school management where we talked about the situation with attending and organizing classes in this school year, when there was a change in the way classes were realized due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic.

On October 16th, 2020, representatives of NGO Young Roma visited two primary schools in Berane where classes are attended by Roma students, and in which our organization implements mentoring program for final grade students.
These are schools:
1. Elementary school "Radomir Mitrovic"
2. Elementary school "Vuk Karadzic"
