Exhibition of handmade jewelry in City Caffe
Exhibition of handmade jewelry was held in Gradska kafana in Herceg Novi on the 22nd of August. The event was organized as part of manifestation Fešta na skalama.
The exhibition itself had a promotional character where visitors could get familiar with the project Dorra Nuova and organization Young Roma.
What we have not had yet – the opportunities
Meetings, preparations, several hours of talks, identifing community problems and the way to resolve them – is an everyday for a dozen Roma that participate in the project “Strengthening public activism of Roma” funded by the European Union.
“The name of the project shows that it is necessary to strengthen public activism of Roma. Five years ago, we could not gather five young people who are in educational system, who want some positive changes in the community, who want to work on some things. Today at seminars we have up to 20, 25 of the participants. “explains Elvis Berisha, a law student at the department of security and politics, and continues:
Jewelry exibition at Škver in Herceg Novi
Project beneficiaries of the project "Increasing employability of long term unemployed women - Dorra Nuova" had the opportunity to present jewellery at the fair in Škver in Herceg Novi.
The fair was held from 4th to 6th of August at Škver, Herceg Novi and was organized as a Fair of organic food.
Visitors had an opportunity to see handmade jewellery made by decoupage technique.
